Recently, the signing ceremony for the landing of Hunan Foxconn Microelectronics Co., Ltd. (Foxconn Microelectronics) was held in the Administrative Committee of Changsha Economic Development Zone.
According to the official introduction, Foxconn Microelectronics will focus on the R&D and design of LED driver chips, fast charging power chips, and 8-bit and 32-bit general-purpose MCU products. The products will be widely used in consumer electronics, home intelligence, and industrial intelligence scenarios. In the future, the company will be based in Changsha, radiate the Yangtze River Delta and the Pearl River Delta, and support terminal customers to obtain higher end-to-end efficiency from design to market.
Since this year, the Changsha New Generation Semiconductor and Integrated Circuit Industry Chain Office has continuously increased its investment attraction. From January to October this year, the total investment in newly signed projects has exceeded 10 billion yuan. Foxconn Microelectronics is the result of the chain office's participation in the whole process from investigation, introduction, negotiation to final signing.
